Deer Season Word Book

I am sharing some photos of a chipboard book I made for my son, Daren. This was his first deer hunting season and he LOVED it! He went to hunting camp every weekend with his Dad and he had the best time. I cut all of the pages and shapes with a Cricut Expression.

New Birthday Card

Daren has a birthday party today for a little girl in his class. Of course, we haven't had any time to get her a birthday present, so we have decided just to give her cash so she can pick something out for herself. I found an idea for a card in a book called The Ultimate Cardmaker, edited by Sarah Crosland.

Since Daren really enjoys hunting, I mix-matched a few stamps for the sentiment inside - it says "I have been hunting for a way to say Happy Birthday". My husband pointed out that I pointed the bow and arrow backwards - oh well. I also added a little tag envelope for the money. I showed Daren, thinking he would be so excited. NOT - He is a boy - he really doesn't care about any of this!

A Big Morning

A 2-hour school delay gave Kelsie plenty of time to pull out one of her front teeth. She pulled the other front tooth out last night. We will anxiously be awaiting the tooth fairy again tonight!

New Word Book

I made a new word book as a birthday present for my daughter's friend Piper. This book is ready for her to add her own photos.
I cut the pages out of chipboard using my Cricut Expression. Then I covered with cardstock and sanded and inked the edges.
