Distressed Flower Card

The challenge at Card Patterns this week is to use the following sketch as your inspiration:


I am limited on materials at our summer place right now, so I decided to try this distressed flower technique that Dawn McVey showed on her blog recently.

I used several scraps of coordinating K&Company papers for the background and the flower in the center.

I also inked the egdes of the flower and the entire card with brown ink.
