I was checking out Dawn McVey's blog last night and found her new Raspberry Suite Color Challenge! Here are the inspiration colors:
In addition, Inspirational Card Challenges has a new sketch this week. Here it is:
Well I was totally inspired last night after not having much motivation for the past few days. I was able to make 3 cards with this very beautiful color scheme!
The first card in the line-up is also my card for the ICS#27 challenge:
I embossed the background with the Cuttlebug Spots and Dots folder. I used a Fiskars border punch for the edge treatments.
This birthday stamp is a fairly recent purchase, and it is definitely one of my favorites!
For the second card, I decided to feature a butterfly.
There's that Happy Birthday stamp again! And I just love this butterfly cut from the Teen Chillin card on the Slice machine!
Again, I embossed the background with the Cuttlebug Spots and Dots Folder. After I assembled the card, it seemed a little plain, so I added some red gems randomly in the dots.
Finally, for the last card, I used the Cuttlebug Bloom Dots folder to emboss the bottom of the card.
I used the Nestabilities Blossom dies to create the layered flower. I curled the edges up slightly and added some stickles for sparkle. I am loving this flower!
Great Challenges! Thanks for Looking!
